I had to reverse to get my JL rear locker to disengage; I thought the loud metal-to-metal "pop" that followed exploded the e-locker. However, all was good.

My only gripe with the E locker is that it has to turn about half a turn to engage in disengage. If you’re not used to working with that, it can prove problematic in the field. I wonder what it would take to make an E locker be instantaneous to engage and disengage.

Hey fab video... I have a Commander and my front left wheel is staying locked...
With all 4 wheels off the ground, all spin but not the front left... could this be because those "fingers" are not disengaging?

When I apply power my rear isn’t engaging (I have popped the case and also bench tested like you are in this video). I imagine this means replacing the actuator entirely, which is fine. But no one seems to sell just the actuator for a JT/JL. Any input? My option seems to be just putting a full aftermarket in at this point. (Probably going ox)

Sorry if this is a dumb question but how do you apply the voltage to it to bench test it like that? With the two locker wires is it a matter of connecting one wire to a positive battery end and the other wire to negative or do you have to connect negative to the axle assemly and positive to one of the wires?

Did you really put vented and drilled rotors on a truck? Also venting and drilling do the same thing so it doesn't make sense to have both. Or either in the case of a truck. It's like putting a spoiler on the back.

problem is if you drive though mud or a pothole full of water, its actuator is going to fail
