Eddie just remembered it wrong, his boss died in the third movie which is his biggest motivation for following his murderer. First movie, friend gets killed. Second movie, Bogomil ends up in the hospital after someone tried to kill him. In the third movie, his commanding officer gets killed during a raid by the security chief of the amusement park. Not holding it against him tho, been a minute since those movies came out.

Man 3 was the best one in my mind. Lol when he said and we gonna pay back Ellis Dewald with everything we owe him with intrest lol that is the best line ever 3 was the best. The music was not too loud and it was pure funny.

Does he forget his boss, dating back to the original film, dies at the start of BHC3? Hence the reason he goes to Wonder World looking for his boss’ killer?
Also, don’t you die on me is uttered in Reservoir Dogs. A pretty fucking successful movie if you ask me.

And let’s not beat around the bush- John Landis stated many times that Eddie Murphy wanted to play Axel more seriously in BHC3. Landis said the script was weak but he knew Eddie Murphy would inject improvisation in it like he did the original and it will help the film. Eddie Murphy didn’t do that and tried to make Axel more serious and in turn ruined any chance of this film succeeding.
