MSFS 2020 FIX Elevator Trim Not Staying Set. Trim not working

Try this Elevator Trim FIX on Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 ( MSFS 2020). It worked on C-172. The trim was drifting and was not staying set. It was near impossible to fly. I needed disable the AI Trim under Options - Assistant - Piloting.

It's my very first day with the sim and I thought i had a fundamental misunderstanding of how to fly. Turns out it was a bug. Thanks so much! This was driving me crazy for about 5 hours. This was also seriously messing up the take off training. The AI was kicking in and causing me not to be able to pull back on the yoke.

Almost assuredly thought this was a bug in my X56, turned out to be a "feature". Thanks a ton!

OH MY GOSH! 😍 Thank you so much! I struggled with this all week and finally bought an after-market wheel and-- same thing. As soon as it touched the trim wheel the whole plane would freak out go into a tail spin. You made my sunday! 👏👏👏

This fixed the trim wheel on my Logitech Multi Panel. That Ai feature would unadjust my trim as fast as I could set it.
If Logitech had told me about this, they wouldn't have gotten back the first one I ordered.

Yes that’s right. I managed to finally get the manual trim to work in msfs but only after I killed the co-pilot😅 little bastard is always meddling with the controls

Even with everything off it's impossible to trim a C-152 with an Xbox controller. There's no joy at all when I spend 90% of my time flying just trying to keep my plane straight and level.

Even with all auto-assist turned off, the trim on every plane I've tried always moves to the most extreme nose-down position. This, of course, makes it impossible to even take off.
