Love to hear people's thoughts on smaller details or niche topics that might not be enough for a half an hour essay, so this seems clever and fun, looking forward to these vids!

Literally every idea I've ever heard from you has been interesting and thought provoking, so I'm looking forward to this new format. Thanks for the update. It's always good to see a PAD video pop up, no matter the content.

Heck yeah. Really looking forward to it. Sounds like a solid balance to keep your mental load to a reasonable level.

Your videos prompt me to think about video games in new ways, so I’m very excited for more pixel a day!

Sounds like a good idea 👍 ones own standards can sometime be the biggest burden.

I've found myself in that situation way too often. Sometimes our own standards prevent us from sharing stuff that people would actually find valuable!

This new direction sounds great, really looking forward to what it brings. I feel like this is a trap that a lot of Youtubers/video essayists fall in to, as they develop as creators and get gradually more ambitious as time goes on. They feel like every new thing they create has to be their biggest and best thing yet to keep up with expectations, and it results in them getting slower and slower with their releases. I do appreciate the big videos a lot, but sometimes it's a bit disappointing that when you get in to someone's work, they end up releasing less and less of it. Not everything has to be a magnum opus to be worth making though, and smaller videos can be a breath of fresh air between the big things. A couple of other creators I follow have tried this approach of doing smaller stuff on the side (like Razbuten) and it has worked out really well.

Sounds like a great idea :-} Totally here for it. Your thoughts and insights on games are stellar, whether a quick dive into a specific story beat or mechanic; or a sprawling, ambitious piece about the games industry. Can't wait to see what you create!

One could say this is how you "Take Control" of your channel 🔥😎🔥🧨🌋

As a fellow creator, I 100% relate to your struggle. For me the solution was also to be a bit less ambitious, so I'm sure your new approach will work out well!

Sounds like an excellent idea! I just recently discovered your channel and although I like longer essays, some shorter videos in my timeline are very welcome too! And I'm sure you have a lot of interesting views and things to say in a shorter format.

Your vids are always inspiring. Even if they are short and scrappy I'll watch for the interesting takes!

I'm really excited for the new format!! I fully agree that, while the high quality production videos are fantastic, it's nice to get more _bite-sized_ videos about specific topics :)

This sounds amazing! Your videos are so inspiring and i love the idea of having more smaller videos, i think your ideas will still make them special.
Don’t worry about it at all! Keep being you ☀️

I think it's a great idea. I tend to focus to the message of a video more than the editing. Bad quality sound is the only thing that might prevent me for watching or listening as I do my chores. To many visual queues or out of context gameplay can get me distracted from the message, so as long as it's a great concept with visual queues to emphasize the points being mentioned, is all I need. To this day I play unrealistic, 8bit and low poly games, so "quality" as many see it doesn't effect me at all. Hearing you enjoy what you have to share is more than enough for me.
