Cindy I am so sorry to hear this. My husband is just getting over shingles at 77 years old and it has been rough. The Dr. did prescribe medication for him to lessen the symptoms. You should get on it ASAP. You don’t want them to get in your eye. We love you and tell Eric we love him too and thank hum for taking care of our Cindy.❤

I am in the middle of covid right now. Never been this sick in my life. I finally went to er and they gave me some medication that seems to be helping. Please Cindy take care of yourself, go to er if you have that in your thoughts again, they can give you something that will lessen the symptoms. Prayers for you.

So sorry to read this, Cindy. There are anti viral and nerve pain meds for shingles if it gets worse. You can even call one of those online doctors who can prescribe and send meds after a telemedicine visit if you don’t feel like going out. Saying a prayer for you to heal ASAP. ❤️🙏✝️. Linda

Cindy-I am so sorry you have been so ill. Shingles is so serious as it likes to travel on one side of your face, especially around the eye. If you haven’t already, please call your primary care doctor to ask for a prescription for the Shingles medication pills and also there is a cream. If you feel the tingling and pain going down to your nose tip or into the corner of your eye, go to the ER immediately as it can cause permanent vision loss. I have had shingles twice on my face. The first time I was 70 and then It happened again at 72. I had even taken the original shingle shot at age 60 for prevention. It was also in the month of December both times. My doctor said stress is number one cause for it and holidays are usually stress filled and people in their 70’s and above will have stress reactions differently than being younger. Please get on medication ASAP if you aren’t.
To have Covid with it is something I can not imagine. I have not had that nor has my husband. My family has all except for my daughter. My granddaughter has had Covid 3 times.
I’m very concerned about you. I will be praying for you, but the shingles is different for everyone as to how long it takes to recover and pain level. But my doctor explained having it near the eye is dangerous and you would need an eye specialist to see about your care.
I’m glad Eric can help with checking on you and Poppy. I hope the Covid turns out mild and recovery time is short. Please try to rest as much as possible..

Oh no, Shingles is very painful, make sure you get on the meds for shingles, if not you can get nerve damage, that happened to my mom who was diagnosed late and it was too late to give her the meds. She got them on one of her legs. Praying for you, Poppi knows your not feeling well, such a sweet girl. So glad Eric is there to help you.🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️
