People said they wouldn´t animate Eren injuring himself. They did not just animate it, they made it even more brutal and painful. Props to Mappa and Yuki Kaji, I could really feel Erens pain

Yuki kaji just doesn’t miss. You can hear the pain just from the grunts. Episode hasn’t fully come out for me yet but from the clips I can tell it’s a 10/10

In the manga, here they showed eren as if he could handle the pain of cutting his own leg and piercing his eye. In the anime, they really showed eren was actually hurt and suffering from doing it.

The fact that when Eren Cut his legs, he screamed in pain and fear and seeing him suffer just to infiltrate Marley's military really shows that he's tryong to achieve freedom even if he had to go through pain. Boy really went along way from being the weakest to one of the badazz character

Props to Eren's JP VA (Yuki Kaji) those grunts while he was trying to cut his own foot and putting a bullet on his eye is just so good!

Did you know, Yuki Kaji actually had to cut off his leg and his eye out to quote from Mappa "Add more realism to the episode" Don't worry he regenerated it right after.

I love the fact that Floch is in Erens happy memory. Eren probably loves Mikasa and Armin more but when people say that Floch is Erens pawn and he dislikes him it is a lie.

In the manga it felt more like he was so crazy and determined that he didn't hesitate at all and went straight to the point. In the anime they made it feel way more painful.
