Wala pang divorce sa Pilipinas. Pero bakit may mga Pilipinong "divorced" ang status? Dahil 'yan sa foreign divorce. Alamin kung ano ang requirements ng foreign divorce at paano ito kinikilala dito sa Pilipinas, kasama sina Judge Jing, Atty. Al at ang kanilang special guest na si Atty. Mylene Yumul-Espina.

San po ba nmin pwede i- check online kung may "notarial commission" ang isang lawyer na lalapitan for notary? Hussle nman po if pupunta pa sa physical office ng Supreme Court or Regional Court. Sana po meron website para ma-check agad.

Sorry, but in my opinion, life is better in the UK, than the Philippines. Law and society in the UK is more fair.

Atty. ask ko lang po sa situation ko. I am currently in the US and I was able to get a divorce from my old marriage in the phils. Can I use this divorce decree and request for the divorce be recognized?

Thanks for you wonderful education video on this matter. I’m going through much similar case. I have a deceased father who had 2 marriages one from PH and one from US. He married a foreigner in the states and divorced her eventually. Does this mean his first marriage in the Philippines would be dissolved if one of his children from second family would pursue this kind of right in order to gain upper hand on ownership of his property in the Philippines? His 1st family is claiming that they have the upper hand of the property ownerships of our same father since there’s no divorce in the Philippines. My father second wife (my mother) is still alive.

Hi, i hope i get lucky here. Im just about to submit my petition for acknowledgement of my divorce from malaysia to philippines but ine if the requirement in philippines is to produce the certified true copy of malaysia divorce law, but here my original divorce document was directly from the high court of malaysia, divorce and divorce decree. It is an act, pls advice as i think no one can certify true copy an act. Thus i cant get the divorce law copy, pls advice thank u and more power!
