Andrzej Bargiel is officially the first person to summit all 8,000m+ peaks in the Karakoram range and ski back down 👏

After previously completing the challenge on Broad Peak (2015) and K2 (2018), his latest expedition saw him ascend and ski down both Gasherbrum 1 & 2 in just one week.

It's insane how little justice cameras do for the steepness of a mountain. This is insane. Props to this guy.


A few years a go me and a couple buddies climbed and skii'd down the skillet on Mount Moran, which I recorded with a GO-PRO, and once we looked at the footage, it didn't even look close to as steep as it actually is in-person. Its weird how cameras are.
