When I was in karate, I took Uechi Ryu for a few years.  My Instructor would hit us with these!  And they hurt!  One of the worse places we would get hit was on the tops of our bare feet!  These are very good for practice!

I know this video is like way old, but I got a cool one like this and a hand stitched suede type handle and some asian markings above the handle, 2 symbols, does that mean worth more?

I was at the pacific mall today that's in Toronto and I saw this kendo practice sword and was like why do they sell that at a mall? But then I realized that it's a place that sells Asian goods so I guess they would sell katanas too

well my mom got me one for 5$ at goodwill cus it was donated but it didn't have that hand guard and it was used but it didn't have good wrapping on the handle but it was still good XD so would 5$ be worth that like its in good shape for 5$

That's such a bad quality shinai go to a freaking japanese martial art supply store and get a better quality one that will last you way longer for 5 dollar more
