Instead of using « geometry ID color », you should use « Mograph - color » in the « attribute name » of the « color user data » node.
This should resolve the issue of getting different colors from progressive to bucket render.
This will also work with multi-instance cloning.

Good tut. Over the past two years, there have been a lot of discussions about IPR, Bucket View, and Final Renders not matching. Nobody has a clear answer as to why but there are a lot of workarounds on Reddit.
