And the narcissist children of the union workers who think that they can just march in the streets and have their way by biting the hand that feeds them. Better have one last machinist strike so you can get a good pension. The company has no use for union workers at this point.

So giving up aerospace in exchange for baristas is a prosperous future??? Where is her straight jacket and hand truck?

Everett should take this opportunity to diversify and get different industries in. If they have such a highly trained aerospace population, shouldn't be hard for them to get retrained. As for large companies. I don't think local/state/otherwise should be giving them special tax breaks to begin with.

We seen a decline in road construction primary contractors accepting bids in our state. Main reason is the ridiculous new wa mandate stating every project w state funding even if $1 must have 50% union apprentices on the job. This is why I met journeyman in the industry traveling to Kingston to apply for apprenticeship. It's ridiculous they're experienced tradesmen who brought nothing but the best to our state and now they have to pay dues and take a pay cut to work in our state. It's wrong! This state abuse of power has resulted in the worker sacrificing their own pay to keep jobs here. It's unsustainable

In the Seattle area, union striking, especially with Boeing and teachers is considered a sport. Like so many other sports these days, people are growing tired of watching. Time to move on to a more appreciated environment,

Just call Air Bus dammit! There are more willing companies. Why not just build Solar and renewables then. Corporations will always turn their back on the people who made them for profit remember that.

Pray Everett does not become another Detroit...why isn't tgere responsability when depence has been created over years? Why aren't there protective impact fees on Big Corp who just yank jobs away? Would somebody explore this for us?
