PLOT SYNOPSIS

Yeah I couldn't get past the ripoff aspect of this movie. It borrowed so much and was so predictable that I was bored. The performances and characters could have made it better but I didn't care for those either...it seems like I'm the only one. lol

The Good: visuals, Van Wilder was funny, no forced romance, quick runtime.
The Bad: predictable, inconsistent rules for Calvin, why wasn't ICBM the ISS a final firewall?

I didn't plan on seeing this because I didn't see how it would escape the VERY familiar scenario of human vs alien life form in space.

Nice review, Sean.  Glad to hear the characters aren't as stupid as the majority of those out there these days! I don't mind a good alien rip-off.  Should be seeing this one tomorrow!

Agree with you here. Like you said, luckily it was not hindered by dumb character decision making, and overly long run-time and keeping the pace moving once things get going. Serviceable but forgettable for sure.

Awesome review Sean, Life certainly is a remake scene for scene of Alien, but like you said better than Alien 3, Resurrection and Prometheus LOL😊. Great review Sean have a great day😉!

Mostly agree with your review! I enjoyed this movie a bit more than I expected actually haha I really liked the alien here. And the cast was great! But I felt they did do some really dumb things, the scientist/guy closest to Calvin made me mad in particular lol

so is this life with venom like I hear? if so I would see it while waiting for a r rated venom version! by the way I'm still waiting for round 2 of the trivia show is that coming out anytime soon? I really loved the first episode can't wait to see the next loser 😂👍
