I was just approved for membership through my dad. Applied the same day and was approved for the American Express cash rewards card plus with a 15k limit! They pulled my Experian report and it knocked my dang score down 7 points but I’m good with the card🎉

I AM EX MIIITARY. I HAVE 3 PENFED, 2 NFCU AND 2 USAA CREDIT CARDS. ALL 3 CREDIT UNIONS ARE GREAT. THEY ALL HAVE PROS AND CONS. USAA DOES A HARD PULL IF YOU REQUEST A CLI. I ALSO BANK WITH USAA AND NFCU, I HAVE MY CAR INSURANCE WITH USAA, CHEAPEST INSURANCE OUT THERE. MY CAR LOAN IS WITH NFCU.

I have the USAA Unlimited rewards card and utilized the balance transfer benefit

I’d flip your number 1 and 2 because really the only people who’d be making purchases on bases are active duty members.

So if we think long term not many veterans will be will be going onto bases once they EAS.

It’s also better to get 2 and 3X points rather than just mostly 1% and 2%

Remember 1X is even worth more than 1%

I got a USAA membership through my Grandpa. Their policy is you can pass on a membership from parent to child, or spouse to spouse.

You can use the 5 percent for gas stations only for 3k a year. Thats not bad for a gas only card

My father served and as his daughter i was allowed to have full banking. I have a credit card, savings, bank account and car insurance through them. I absolutely love this bank

I don’t like how they pull your credit for asking for a credit limit increase

The main thing I don’t like about my USAA American Express card is that it has a $175 hold every time I get gas. And it last like 3 days.

I been bank with USAA and navy federal since 2014. I been having my eye on a new card from USAA for awhile and this video definitely helped me in my search

I mean all this sounds nice but in practice is where it really counts honestly. I had Navy and had someone commit almost $50K in fraud I provided documents etc. and they still denied me and expected me to pay.
