Well done adored! I saw in a few forums saying if it came from you it must be fake. Well i'm always happy to see these people proved wrong, maybe next time they will listen to what your saying before drawing conclusions.

Great job and i can't wait to see your analysis on things.

By the time Ray tracing games come to market, your new RTX won't be powerful enough to run them. Just brilliant Huang strategy there.

Raytracing won't make it into mainstream gaming for another generation or 2, Granted Nvidia have the upper hand, but the industry is to focused on Fortnite clones to give a shit. Still living in DX11 land.

The gaming consoles are amd based, and the next generation will be amd based as well. If I was a game developer I would be building it for the consoles not the top few % of pc users.

So if amd can't handle ray tracing as well as nvidia then it would make sense that nearly every game will have no support for ray tracing for many years since the next gen consoles won't handle it. I don't feel like ray tracing is something you can just add to a game as an option either. The game has to be built with it in mind from the beginning.

Jim, just wanted to chime in, Turing is very fast, highly optimized for gaming. NV has boosted ILP massively. That's what I heard from distributors awhile back. Its so fast they can pull shenanigans like midrange chip -> Ti flagship and charge ridiculous money for it.

RTX & RX wont that cause consumers to be even more confused? O3O

$1200 was the price of the Pascal Titan, now it's the price of the new Ti. Knew this would happen sooner rather than later, but it still sucks to see it unfold.

Thank you Jim! I became a patreon this month and I hope many more people do, so we keep on getting great quality content as we always do.
I’m glad too, to hear your going in vacation, enjoy your free time! :)

I often have a problem, differentiating in your videos whether the video is a recap or is content of the current video. The transition of them is often very unclear. In my opinion you should mark these recap snippets more clearly. Maybe with a video effect, a frame around the video or a label with the title of the video+time index.

21:03 Take heart! They can only increase prices and slow their progress so far without inviting extreme competition. AMD's main focus right now is getting their x86 investments under control. Which makes sense, as that has always been their main stay. But with the ever broadening reach of graphics into enterprise and scientific application, where marketing is less potent of a determinant, and the pockets are deeper, AMD's graphics devision has a reason to stay in the game. As AMD's financial situation strengthens they can afford to make deeper investments into graphics, and they have reason to, and as nVidia slows their progress and hikes their prices, they open themselves to unexpected competition, just like Intel did. AMD is still recovering, but give them a little time, and don't be surprised if they come back into the game when nVidia least expects it, especially if Lisa Su remains in charge.
