What other GPU’s should we check out to see how good they are in 2024? Let me know under this comment!

I'll stick with my 2080, for another 2-3 years. It's still doing great.

Still rocking my 2080ti paired with an i9-9900k. 2024 is still looking good

I'm glad you're not feeding into the vram anxiety, I just got a 6750 XT and people are already saying 12GB isn't enough either lol

I agree with the vram panic. It's soooo overblown. Of course, the extra vram is appreciated but thinking 8gb vram is "dead" is just stupid. I blame the bigger the channels like hardware unboxed for this hysteria. By that logic, an rx 580 is better than a 1660 super and 2060 because it has 8gb vs 6. Just because a few games eats hella vram, doesn't mean all games would be the same

If you are shopping the used market for a 20 series, definitely be patient and hunt for a 2080ti.

Paired one with a i7 9700 and it can do Helldivers 2 at 4k, max settings, 60-70fps

Crazy this is a small channel! Really thought this was a 3+ million subscriber channel from the quality of the video. Just swap my 2080 today for a 3070Ti and I’m really hoping it was worth it

Hey Matt, nice video. What I really like is your video quality considering you “only” have 2.4k subscribers. It's pretty amazing how much effort you put into the overall quality of your videos. I don't often see that with other channels that are starting to grow. Keep it up, I think you're on the right track.

In Taiwan, graphics cards usually have a five-year warranty. My 2080S just happened to die near the end of its warranty. Sent it back, and they found a blown capacitor. They were super cool and offered a free replacement, but I'd already upgraded to a 5070Ti. So, I'm just gonna use the 2080S as a spare for now.

how u feel ab the newer 2060 12gb? i wanna get it cause it’s not crazy expensive and my 1650 super struggles to hold a steady fps on any game

RTX 2080 super and i9900k hasnt failed me yet. +60 FPS on highest settings, some games get 55fps, and competetive games can have settings turned down to easily get 120+ FPS. All at 1440p

As long as you get between 144fps - 180 most of the time then you are set. Honestly, you dont need more than that at all.

8 months late here but my main rig is rocking a i5 12600k with 32g of ram and a 2080ti ftw3 and I'm able to run American truck sim on 1440p on Ultra settings at around 100fps with mods and no jaggies on the trucks. Trust me that's extremely impressive for an almost 8 year old card. None of you guys test on ATS/ETS2. With mods they are extremely taxing games for cards. We don't necessarily shoot for high FPS but shoot for no jaggies on the vehicles.

I got an EVGA FTW3 Ultra RTX 2080 Ti from Romanian marketplace for 2000 Romanian Money (400$) and it runs pretty smoothly, but on 1080p :)
