I am so impressed with Ruth's story. I had NO IDEA that a "Graham" went through such terrible experiences. . .and made her share of mistakes, but kept on reaching for life, goodness and love. It really amazes me, since I almost died from my first and only husband's cruelty (left him twenty years ago after 17 years of waiting for "the leopard to change his spots". She's REALLY brave.

I've read her book "In Every Pew Sits a Broken Heart". Brave woman who is forced to run to God because of her admitted weakness to deal with her abuse by herself. I related very much to her story. my father much like her father but on a smaller scale as far as #of followers, well known and very respected and loved in his community and in the church. I was struggling. and made some bad choices. Ruth's story impacted me and brought the huge love and grace of God to an attainable point for me. When I finally accepted Jesus, I found freedom in His forgiveness that had I not heard her story, where would I have turned. God is so forgiving. Church people often stay "stuck" and there are congregations that do nothing to reach out or know their own flock. Since, I have found wonderful fellowship in Christ and wonderful fellowship with Church and am free to commute with Him every day. He is Holy. I'm so thankful!! I want to live in a way that honors Him and what He did on that cross and in that grave!!
