Not a full tang, it's a rat tail. I bought the Jungle Master Bayonet and it's a bitch to sharpen. Decent steel but too bad it's a rat tail with a screw that holds the handle together. Good thing about it though, if it loosens, just tighten the screw!!

why does it need holes? those are just weak points ready to snap the blade.
