I bet you were so happy that you'd made great progress on your shelter. We had snow this morning. I did briefly consider going for a walk but, indoors it's 25c and it's bank holiday Monday. I opted for a cooked breakfast and the hi-fi turned up.

Cool shelter! I want to do something similar, with 4 walls and couple beams for a tarp roof. Like you said, so the sun can get in and dry it out.

I’m an elderly female and although I can’t do what you do, I can certainly walk someone through the steps in the event of a SHTF event! Dude I've been thinking the same thing about the creepy crawlers. I use the tarp as long as I can then switch to a tent as I gets warm. But you've got me thinking. A nice bug net would make tarp camping possible year round. Thanks for that idea Rob!
