I am sat here just turned 50, no children, no marriage, parents gone etc, etc and that song uplifted me, you may hate your past but your past is still helping so many. Yesterday, I read about a few British guys languishing in a hell-hole prison in Romania for the next 6 years for selling cannabis. Today I have my freedom to walk around my town to shop and go for a coffee, I have eyes to see and feet to walk, I have television for entertainment a cell-phone for company, the list is endless. But everyday I think of the millions of people who are locked up in hellish prisons who dream of freedom, to be able to read a book in a library or watch the daffodils abloom. Of course, life isn't always easy but by thinking of things to be grateful for we can change the chemistry of the brain, and marvel at living on this tiny blue dot, this spaceship called Earth, and the unfathomable mystery of being alive at all...greetings from Dublin 🇮🇪☘🇬🇧
