Cuphead DLC - 9HP Hearty Achievement/Trophy Guide - Have 9HP at one time - The Delicious Last Course

The proper way to do this is to play as Cuphead, using the Crackshot, and the Heart Ring Charm, on the King Dice boss fight. You'll need to be able to complete 2 mini bosses without getting hit, and be somewhat consistent on dice rolls to land in predictable locations on the board.

Heart Ring Charm: Earn 1HP on your 1st, 3rd, and 6th parry.

The strategy here is to have 3HP as Cuphead, earn 3HP from the Heart Ring + Crackshot Combo, and earn 3HP from dice rolls on the board = 9HP.

Start off by rolling the dice to grab the first heart piece on the board and spawn into the first fight. Complete the fight without getting hit and save your special meter for later. After the first fight, you'll have 4HP. Once done, on the board, use the crackshot special, and parry it to build parries for the Heart Ring charm. This should give you an additional 1 or 2 HP. Now, dice roll to the safe space, and then to the 2nd heart piece on the board. Here, again, complete the boss fight without being hit, and save your special meter, but don't let it max out. After the second fight you should have 7HP+, and enough craskshot special shots to bring you to 8HP. Now, just roll the dice to the third and final heart piece on the board to reach 9HP and unlock the achievement. You don't have to complete the final fight. Congrats!

Note: I know it's possible with the genie cheat, but that seems to be giving people so many problems.

What I recommend though is start a new save and get the genie and heart ring, then go to the root pack and don’t damage the potato until you have parried all the worms to get 9hp.

I tried to gather the extra lives on board and then get the parries in the king dice fight, but that seems bugged, it somehow reset my hp counter when i got the parries. But parrying the crackshot turrets is great idea thanks for the video

I was sure I had to do pretty much all of this, but had no idea I could parry the crack shot's ball, that really helps. I was thinking about just parry a lot of pink hearts in the rabbit fight, but it's hard to not get hit by so much of his skulls, seen that I won't have smoke bomb.

A great strategy I just used:

Use Djimmi's wish to give yourself three extra hearts right off the bat
Go to King Dice's gauntlet and wait in the first room with the Divine Charm equipped.
Wait for your cards to fill from passive card regeneration, and try to find Crackshot
Parry the Crackshot EX attack to gain a heart back
Repeat this process until you have nine hearts, then parry the die and enter a fight

You don't even need the extra hearts King Dice provides with this strategy, though it is pretty boring.
Djimmi's wish grants you extra health until your next victory, but each boss in the gauntlet counts as a separate boss fight, meaning you can't fight a boss or else the extra health you get from the wish will vanish.
This means if you want to go for a gamble, you can use his wish, then try to go for the Tipsy Troop on your first roll. Take out the short drink and the tall one in the back, leaving only the female one that spawns little bats. Those shoot pink eyeballs which you can try and parry, and when she's alone the female glass has no other attacks that can harm you aside from said bats. You can try this method instead of the Crackshot method as before, but it's pretty risky and harder to set-up.

Bro the same thing happened to me so I assumed the game wanted you to get the 9 hp a certain way but when I looked it up they’re literally doing it the same way I was this pisses me off so much.
