While I’m a pretty big fan of the RTS genre, I’ve only occasionally played Civilization or games like it. Meaning, that this review isn’t coming from someone with hundreds of hours already played in this game’s direct competitor and clear inspiration. If you’re looking for someone who can contrast and compare everything in Ara to Civ, then you’re at the wrong place. On the other hand, if you’re looking for the opinion of someone who’s still very much interested in the genre but isn’t already a diehard fan, then keep watching!

honestly without playing and playing civ games by watching other content creators play this game. there is a lot needs to be fixed in my humble opinion. it's easier to play at least a month on x box game pass for $30 and get this game for free rather than spend $60 at least. if you could wait; well i would suggest at least 6 months to a year to fix a lot of these issues. civ 6 had at least someone chim in to let you know some suggestions to do; yet I haven't seen any of this. or the late game micro management with the ui becomes tedious with so many things built. these two among other things makes this game still under cooked and in early access,
