Ocelot Time Paradox Metal Gear Solid 3 HD

I've created a time paradox by shooting Ocelot in the face. This was done on The HD Collection of mgs3.

This is why I love the metal gear solid franchise. Any other game would just tell you "Don't kill Ocelot! It's a war crime! He's your friend!" etc. trying to stay within lore. This game flat-out tells you that since it's a prequel, killing him now means he can't appear in the other games.

The reason Campbell is yelling about time paradoxes is that in the Japanese version, his voice actor also voiced Doc Brown from Back to the Future. So Hideo was making a time travel joke that unfortunately didn't translate to other dubs.

Yes. He, along with Big Boss and EVA lived until MGS4. Unlike them however, he's actually made an appearance in every MGS game. He tortures Solid Snake in MGS1, assists Solidus Snake in MGS2, appears at a younger age in 3, and finally is the main antagonist in 4.
