This bike is kinda slept on IMO. I have an 01 with a 351 kit and a 36mm pumper carb swap. These KLX s are a good low maintenance trail bike that’s actually pretty fast with the right carb. Xr’s are pretty good but these bikes go for half the price and that’s hard to beat

Sounds great. I got a 2012 xr 650l with under 400 miles on it. Was my birthday present to myself. Got to ride it more.
