Logitech steer base as well as the pedals as well as the shifter have all hard mounting points, so you can get rid of the pesky table clamps! I'm gonna steal some of your ideas for building my own ets2 sim rig

you do know, that you can screw in the wheel from the bottom, and remove those plastic brackets. There are holes already exactly for it on the bottom.

Clean build. The foundation looks great and you can do pretty much anything to it. Lots of potential. You will keep this forever since Dad built it!

once you go direct drive you will need the 80/20 profiles. with your logitec you have no force to account for.

Yes, your dad is very talented. Would you ask him to put his thinking cap on and consider the following mods to your platform. I’m into Flight Sims and would like to have two systems using the same chair and peddles. Position #1 would face a single monitor, my general aviation panel with yoke for Microsoft Flight Sim 2020. Position #2 (rotate 90 degrees to the right, would have just a monitor and my Hotas for for use with military and helicopters. The only shared components would be the rudder peddles and throttle. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

I want to my local car dismantlers and bought a bucket seat on rails which is fully adjustible for 80 euro....then Tig welder a frame 8 hours work!
