Make a FREE (not cheap, free!) DIY Cockpit for your Racing Sim Rig

This is how I made not a cheap, but a FREE cockpit.

I made a Sim Rig Cockpit for the Logitech G27 Racing Simulator Steering Wheel for free, without paying a dime. I took planks and wooden boards that were being thrown away and used DIY (Homemade or Do It Yourself) to assemble it, a base to support the Steering Wheel, Pedals and Shifter, which replaces a base costing upwards of $1000 dollars! All without spending a cent, and you can make yours too. Oh, and in addition it is foldable. Amazing right?

Nice diy rig. But speaking from experience, using the broomsticks as dowel hinges will cause alot of squeaking when folding if the holes are too tight. Still a solid and cost effective idea. Props to you.

Nice video! 🎉 Does it fold on it's own like completely flat? Or at least close to it?
Would be great to for the ones that don't want our rig permanently on

You could make one with an old car seat aswell since they can be cheap af, I have an old car so might use one from there

Hint: if you make it yourself for YOUR use it doesn't need to be adjustable.
Those on market cockpits must be settable in multiple ways and must be packaged in small boxes for transportation and must be styled. This comes with a big price - lots of fragility. That's why most of them wobble.
At home you can build it like a tank.
One position - just for you, not settable.
Thick wood and a structure with triangles - ugly but not fragile, heavy but it doesn't require transportation.

You made here just another wobble crap to look like those on market but free.
