Difficult Killer Sudoku Made Easy

This would probably be a difficulty 2 or 3 on Daily Killer Sudoku. Can you do some of them that are difficulty 8, or 9 on that site? I find them nearly impossible. I can do up to difficulty 6 on Daily Sudoku Killer. This puzzle was super easy to me.

Well I am not as good as you by far at regular sudokus but I am leagues ahead of you at killer sudoku :). The one you solve here is actually quite easy. I use the app "killer sudoku by sudoku.com" from editor Easy Brain on android and the experts on it have some much tougher ones quite often (sometimes they re as easy as this one though). The app is kinda bad because you can only take notes in one color (it s really really really handy to be able to take notes of differenr colors in killer sudoku, much more so than in regulr sudokus), but for difficulty of the puzzles I think it s the best one. No idea if they're generated automatically by some algorithm or if they ve been designed and are in finite numbers. Probably the former. Some of them are really challenging in any case. I should make a video to explain how I solved some of the tougher ones, I guess. There's not much ressources online on advanced techniques to solve them.

Hello! I need to ask, at 8:50, you say that that number has to be 5 because if in C7 R1&R2 the sum has to be 14, when using the 8, the 6 will not be available because it will be used in C7 R4 or R5. But what if you used the 9 and then you would need a 5 to sum up to 14 and put that as an option? I don't get how you were so sure that in C9 R4 the number was 5 when it was all still hypothetical. This is where I get stuck most of the times when doing these type of sudokus.
