I actually read these words to my kids the other day, and as I hear you read the words of the Savior, one thing came to my mind, "there is salvation for me." Don't stop what your'e doing brother, This work is of God and nothing can stop it!

This was such a good episode. It surprises me how little this very point is made or maybe how often I missed it before. THIS is why it is the keystone of our religion, its witness of the reality of Christ! All of Christianity should hope its true because it does provide a definitive witness that Jesus is The Christ! It has always surprised that people automatically believe the Bible without evidence but call the book of Mormon a fraud. It's such a great book!! It's full of adventure, triumphs, amazing Journeys over great oceans, conquering fear, faith we've never seen in our lifetime, miracles.... just to name a few. Christ did more miracles for them before, during and after his time than he ever did the Jews simply because of their faith and devotion to him.

I remember I read in the title page that the purpose of the BoM was to convince Jew and Gentile that Jesus is the Christ. I thought "Duh!" but as years have gone by I now appreciate the BoM much more as a necessary witness and proof that Jesus is the Christ, the Eternal God. Not just a nice guy, but "The God of Israel and the God of the whole Earth" 3 Nephi 11:14

This is exactly how I received my testimony that the Book of Mormon is true - I finally opened my mind to the POSSIBILITY that it could be true. Before that, I rejected any claim of it's truthfulness based on nothing but my own opinion that it wasn't true. I literally said "I already know it's not true. I don't need to read it to know it's not true" That was 30 years ago and my life has never been the same since ❤

Yes! The Book of Mormon is the greatest witness to me that Jesus is the Christ. It is the miraculous 2nd witness to Christ’s resurrection and divinity.

This would’ve been a great idea to have during my mission. People didn’t care about the Book of Mormon but this gives some motivation to care about it. It’s an amazing book that tells us more about our Savior that the Bible is missing!

Why would anyone who really loves the word of God refuse to believe that the Divine Author might have given more and don’t seem to care enough to find out. If I love the Bible, I will give the Book of Mormon a shot. I find it a marvelous sequel to the Bible, and I love them both deeply. Anyone who reads them honestly should recognize His voice in both.
