I can recommend using the pi for pihole and/or nextcloud. Personally I have my mailserver running on a pi3b with courier and roundcube.

What did you mounted on /mnt exactly (3min.28)? Did you plugged the rpi4 via USB or the sd card from your rpi4 into your machine? Ps: why not using nmap (for example) to scan your network instead of ssh into your home router to check ip?

Your ssh pub key. Is that specific to one machine? Or did you copy the key pair to other clients.

get-iplayer pvr recorder running through vpn? But unless you are connecting it to hardware, why have a pi. Just have a little low powered pc/laptop running vms or promox
