As mother of 5, I can attest to the fact that these fancy dinners are often wasted on little ones. I don't know how many Friday night dinners I made in my house, 5 courses, etc. only to have the under 12 crowd eat bread, mashed potatoes, and maybe part of a chicken leg. And that's optimistic...
