I've seen circles cut in the ice by school science classes, clubs and groups of people. If the water is flowing underneath, the ice disc will spin. I've also seen people cut them, then put the back wheel of a motor scooter on it to get them to spin. I've seen different people use different things to make them spin. That quad looks pretty cool and I actually liked the flight camera view better than the DJI 2. Nice video too, it reminds me of when I lived in Colorado.

Thanks CD, ive never touched snow, heat on the other hand i dont think ill ever get use to here in outback sth aussie.great vid as usual. im definatly buying this frame as my 1st 5 inch, im still wondering about what to do with the vortex 250. might just leeavee it stock...be safe try keep warm, im going to do some practicing on the baby ape before more solder practice, thanx for sharing

Oh this looks like a fun drone for me to try.

Had an idea when you blew on your drone to get the snow off. Maybe keep an air duster in you bag. Just remember to store it in your coat while flying. Keep it warm so it will work properly when you need to use it. Less chance of snow melting from the warm air in your lungs. 😉

Don't you just love it when "someone" shows up. It's like you are driving down a deserted road for hours and you see no-one, you are desperate for a piss so pull over and the moment you unzip and start going 2 cars appear from nowhere!! or like my wife when I am getting changed in the bedroom, the moment you drop your pants she has to walk in and leave the door wide open and grab something insignificant and then leaves leaving the door open for all the kids and to see. Virtually every time she does this but denies doing it on purpose. You would think that for those few precious seconds you would be along .

Hi captain, I have a question I just bought the mark5 hd so I could use my dji goggles, I got it with no receiver cuz I still use spectrum, I have a dx9 will I have a problem putting a spectrum receiver in this? Thanks for the help and great video.

They cut the large circle of ice then cut and place a boat motor on one side close to edge of circle to create a ice merry-go-round. 🙂

If I'm in the US. Can I trust GEPRC I see nothing but bad reviews when I looked them up an wanted to buy a whole DJI System them, are they trustworthy?
