I get asked all the time what drone I recommend for FPV. 5" freestyle drones are what I fly the most out of my arsenal. This is my favorite prebuilt drone I've used and it's what I recommend to anyone getting into FPV in 2024.

if you have to ask which one you are a noob, and any frame will do the same thing. Just get something that is beefy with 6mm arms and you won't break it :) For me the worst thing I ever did starting off was using frames that were not designed to crash over and over....

Hey Parker, I'm a huge fan of your FPV videos! I'm looking into buying a couple drones to start learning myself and I had a couple questions for you. First question on the GEPRC Mark 5 drone which option would you recommend that is compatible with the DJI V2 goggles? Options are: 6S PNP, 6S TBS Nano Rx, 6S ELRS 2.4 G. I'm also looking into buying the GEPRC Cinelog 30 as well, same question applies, which options would you recommend for that drone that is compatible with the DJI V2 goggles? Options are: PNP, Frsky R-XSR, TBS Nano RX, or ELRS 2.4 G. Last question of those two drones, which one if either would be the better choice for a beginner just learning how to use FPV drones?

I agree. I have two Mark 5's. (1 6s, 1 4s) They really are amassing. If you like bigger try the Crocodile 75. It too handles like a dream. No matter how slow you want to go or in what tight space you want to fit it. It will go smoothly because of its handling ability. The only bad Geprc I ever bought was the Cinelog 35 6s. It was a problem from the beginning. I real piece of junk. As far as they Mark 5's go. They're Great!

What does "6S ELRS 2.4G" mean, for example?

Is that the controller that comes with it?

How about the battery?

Would I automatically get the best battery, or do I need to select something else?

In addition, I need to, of course, buy a 4k GoPro 6, correct?

Do I also need to get a mount for the GoPro?

What about the goggles?

question. I wired up an RXSR receiver on my Gep Rc Mark 5 and configured everything on Beta Flight. When I arm the quad and give it a little throttle, the quad jolts, spins (yaw) a couple times, and drops to the ground. Never had this problem, and have no idea. Any advice? As always, appreciate all your help!
