I'm glad the author had the balls to tackle male sexual assault in the series, along with other social issues including race and family, in a relatively respectful but still realistic matter.

My favorite scene is seeing Omni man not give a second for her to explain when he hears she hurt his son. He didn't care what it was, he just knew someone he loved got hurt and was about to execute the offender.

Man, i never thought i will feel bad for the main character, this guy is pretty much made invincible to see how much pain he can endure. Unlike the other superheroes who always win and are treated like gods. The Boys and Invincible pretty much got me back into superhero stuff.

The show handled their first meeting so much better than the comic did. It felt so much more natural there, and Mark's reaction was so much more believable for someone in that situation

The people in this comment section that are teasing Mark and joking about the concept of getting raped by a woman don't care to consider what rape's haunting and debilitating effects are on a person, especially in the case of a man raped by a woman.

The problem isn't that Viltrumites struggle with a tendency to violence, it's that they don't struggle with it. Anissa threatening his mother's life is that he has to meet with her before someone notices her clothing. But she did nothing to prevent this. She's tried nothing to avoid threatening people and she's all out of ideas. At no time has a Viltrumite spent more than a minute trying to convince someone before resorting to violence. Fundamentally they resent having to convince someone of anything, of not getting instant obedience.
