When you take your theory test you will get asked questions on many topics, one of the topics that catches out many people is MOTORWAYS! Why? Well as a provisional licence holder your experience of motorways if going to be very limited to none at all, so you need to know about something in theory with no practical experience of it, this can make it quite hard to remember and understand the information. Typically people get questions wrong about motorways studs, contraflow systems, SMART motorways and emergency and breakdown procedures.

It's all very well doing the theory of motorways, but the fact that learner drivers get no tuition or experience of motorway driving until after they've passed their tests just seems beyond belief.
