How does the 'pen first' design of the Surface Duo 2 work for whiteboarding. Well. It's great! But it also isn't... Let's talk about it.

I have a suggestion. Maybe one of those discussions but as how this would be useful for a Uni student and in a learning context.

I agree. Whiteboard is far from ready for Android and the DUO. My other complaint is with OneNote for Android on the DUO. No white or light mode when using dark mode theme. All other versions of OneNote allow to turn on light theme even when using the dark theme. This forces a user to turn dark them off and on when wanting to use OneNote with a light background. I hope Microsoft will work with Google to add more OneNote features to the Android version to better enhance the DUO's capability. Great videos! Keep them coming.

Loving the discussions. The new whiteboard is clearly a response to Miro. We use Miro at work, it's good but limited because a certain brand of computer doesn't support touch screens or pen input on their computers.

Love this, thank YOU! I love the whiteboard. I love watching people draw out their ideas and talk to them. Unfortunately we don't do this often enough. For me, I have a laptop that can do this BUT it doesn't fold so it's awkward to hover over the screen (hurting my arm) to draw....

I wish more mobile sales people saw the value in This Device. Teams, Whiteboard, Outlook, Office, Dynamics are all truly usable from the seat of my car or on the Transit.

The whiteboard app on duo doesn't show previews for the whiteboards in my list, only the ones originally created on my pc.
This has almost rendered it completely unusable.
I've tried reinstalling the app, but it's still the same.

Is be very grateful if someone could help me out actually as I used to use it quite a lot.

Off topic a bit, but integration with SharePoint is broken for me (at least with the SharePoint app). Is there any word from Microsoft on this?

Not sure about that freeflow of thoughts, never really worked for me. If I had a problem and wanted a solution I would explain the problem and give my team a few days to think about it, based on the best way they work. We are all different in how we explore options and by slamming everyone into a whiteboard hotbed it can be more disruptive to free thinking for some, as we all have different personalities and thought processes.

Once everyone has collated their thoughts these would be passed around so that we could rethink based on the collective thoughts and after another few days hopefully have some sort of agreement on the best solution. A bit like a scientific paper where the author sets out their thoughts and theory and contemporaries digest and qualify.
