Is this the Holy Grail amp it claims to be?

Watch our in-depth HQ demo of the Supro 1695T Black Magick using a Fender Telecaster and a Gibson SG to decide for yourself. Fender Tele at 6:30, Gibson SG at 10:50.

Our thoughts:
This is a legendary bluesy tone monster- All vibe, all the time. Not a Vox, not a Marshall, not a Fender. This is it's own thing - and this is a Supro. The highest gain in their line, with plenty of headroom to be a pedal platform, but also plenty of growl to use onboard overdrive for your dirt. At this price, if you're a classic rock fan, you need this amp.

Love this amp, had it for a year now. I like the Supro Dual Tone better for humbuckers personally. This is a thick sounding amp and the Dual Tone is a bit thinner and prettier sounding. I love them both and possibly my favorite amps in 40 years of playing. Put the Supro Overdrive in front of them and it's truly great!

Awesome demo, great amp. I`ve been looking for an amp that doesn`t need pedals for classic rock tones.I now want one. Thanks for the demo

Supro's current amps have a VERY distinct tone. I've found it almost impossible to capture this tone with a mic. I've found Amplitube's Supro amp emulator to be a better alternative( some freaking how ha 🤷‍♂️)

Considering trading for this amp. Can I safely use my Captor X 16 ohm as an attenuator or headphones (load box). Nice review. Thanks!

Great demo, love the amp and have always thought about getting one. How loud is this compared to a 68 Princeton reverb. I have been playing the Princeton for a bit and have considered adding the supro just worried the 25 watts may be to loud to get to the sweet spot on the amp.

sound flat to me which isn't all bad I just prefer a blackface type scoop- sounds like a tweed amp.
