Positive and heartfelt, this video showcases the Canada 150 themes of diversity, youth, environment, and reconciliation, all against the backdrop of Canada’s Prairies. It was shot in a field of Durum wheat on a farm in Wilcox, Saskatchewan, in September 2016 using modern high-tech agriculture technology. Male employee #1: Our ancestors came here to raise food and families.
Male employee #2: We overcame differences.
Female employee #2: We are stewards of many languages and vast lands.
Male employee #3: We are of mixed races and cultures.
Female employee #1: And as long as the sun shines, the river flows, and the grass grows our children will celebrate life on these prairies.
Child: It's just the beginning.
