Swap Guidelines:

The last day to purchase a Swap spot is June 17th 2022

You will receive and email with all the details and an invite to the Swap Facebook group.

--You will need to create 2 folios that are our basic design and size ( the same as the one in our video) We have a two folio per person limit.

-- The two folios must have one slide out and 7 places for 4x6 photos.

--The folios cannot be any thicker. than 1' for both ( see the video)

--The deadlines to submit the two folios is July 11 2022

~~Measurements~~
Folio base:
you will need 3 pieces of plain cardstock that are 8 1/2" x 11"

Take 2 pieces and score on the 11" side at 3" ~~ 9"~~ and 9 1/4"

Take the 3rd piece of cardstock and on the 11" side score at 5 1/2"

Cover/pages:

You will need to use your stash of pattern paper

-3 pieces cut to 8 1/4" x 5 3/4”

-3 pieces cut to 8 1/4" x 5 1/4" if you make the pocket or 4 pieces if you do not create the pocket (see the video)

Small Pocket Flap:
You will need to use your stash of pattern paper

-1 piece cut to 2 1/4" x 8 1/4"

Large Pocket Flaps:
You will need to use your stash of pattern paper

- 3 pieces cut to 2 3/4" x 8 1/4"

Front Cover Flap:
You will need to use your stash of pattern paper

-2 pieces cut to 1 1/2" x 8 1*4"

Pocket Inserts:
You will need to use your stash of pattern paper

- Option 1 cut paper to 7" x 5"

-Option 2 cut paper to 10" x 7" and score on the 10" side at 5"

Photo Mats:
You will need to cut white cardstock/copy paper to 4" x6"

For anyone watching in the UK. Since our standard A4 paper is just over 11.5” long, I make the scores at 3”, 9” and 9.5” so it’s slightly thicker and you could add more pockets and pages 🥰

I made this book yesterday and it was so much fun. I give it for someone who has a new dog. I put one fold more so 12 photos - for every month one- is inside. A Year in the live of the dog. I hope she will enjoy this wounderful book. Thank you for sharing this projekt :)

Hi there, back again at the 2 1/2 minute mark to watch gluing it all together. I wrote down all the measurements for cutting and scoring on my 3rd time watching, but not matter what my brain can not grasp how to glue without watching it. I can't wait to get started on a folio for my daughter and new son-in-law for some of their favorite wedding photos to place on their coffee table. Their wedding invitation was handmade from fern sun prints. They were married in the redwoods surrounded by, you guessed it, redwoods and thousands of ferns, so imagine my surprise when I found designer series paper with various sun prints of ferns and other wild forest foliage in blues/white & grays/white and a coordinating stamp set and dies! Thank you, Maymay, for such a nice idea and instructions. I'm really going to enjoy this project.

I just made one of these, and also forgot to round those corners on the flap before assembly! I cut12x12 card stock down to 8.5x11 for the base. Before cutting, I determined the grain of the paper and made sure to cut it so that the scored lines would follow the grain. Doing this results in crisp lines when burnishing (instead of uneven/cracking). A fun project, for sure!

I. Glad I found you again. My cell went crazy and had to get a new blank one. It was hard to remember all the crafters and DIYer’s that I followed. Seeing you again, is like opening a Christmas present from under the Christmas on Christmas morning and it is a gift you had wanted forever, and you know that your parents would not be able to afford such a beautiful “gem” of a Christmas present.
