Such a huge devaluation that covered the entire world in water for one whole year. This is the most logical answer.
God bless Ken Ham 😊

The Pishon is now a dry river bed. It flowed through Saudi Arabia emptying into the convergence of the Tigris and Euphrates. The Gihon River is now called the Karun River. It flows from Iran into the convergence of the Tigris and Euphrates just as the Bible describes.

Mr. Ham commits the same error he faulted William Lane Craig for, using his own reasoning when he didn't understand the explanation in scripture.

Quick question referring to the new answer, book one, homeschool curriculum from master books ; do you have any pictures slides that can go hand-in-hand with this book?

No one will be able to find the garden of Eden, as the Lord placed there protection!!! 24 After he drove the man out, he placed on the east side[a] of the Garden of Eden cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life. Genesis 3:24
This man’s explanation is the best!

My theory is that the original location is in North America completely destroyed and under 10.000 plus feet of sedimentary rock, ancient riverbeds would likely be unrecognizable too. Heck given that there was one super continent that broke up during the the flood the original location could of be where two plates slid apart or together and was either completely ripped apart or ripped apart while being shoved down under into the hot magma zones, who knows.

Basically your comment perfectly fits our understanding today, we just dont know, if God had not tricked man to sin, we would still be in paradice taming snakes

It was in Georgia. Somebody in 1963 figured it out by some kind of botanical motherload, bonanza, somewhere in south Georgia.
Yeah, they gotta rename things.
Like streets, in the name of some leftist social justice hero.

Don’t deviate from the Bible. What a river did then and a river does now doesn’t even have to resemble the other. Earthquakes and floods of a smaller scale and not to mention ice pushing things around can really change things. But when the Holy Bible says,
Genesis 8:1-5, it is not Noah speaking. It is God telling Moses what to write word for word.
Genesis 8:1-5
1And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters asswaged;
2The fountains also of the deep and the windows of heaven were stopped, and the rain from heaven was restrained;
3And the waters returned from off the earth continually: and after the end of the hundred and fifty days the waters were abated.
4And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat.
5And the waters decreased continually until the tenth month: in the tenth month, on the first day of the month, were the tops of the mountains seen.

That is the word of God written by Moses and you can know it is not of any man, but of God.

We aren’t supposed to find the Garden of Eden. Remember, YHVH set 2 cherubim with flaming swords 🗡️ of fire 🔥 at the entrance to guard it. How did the flood affect this…we just don’t know and won’t. Once the Bride of Christ is in Heaven we, and only we, will know.

They reused names? But that would mean that point of The Book of Genesis, strictly speaking, wasn't historically "true". Which begs the question, if what happened was real and accurate, why wouldn't you give people the real names?

It doesn't match because the narrative given in the Bible is Israeli and Jewish folklore, and folklore doesn't need to conform to reality. There are many widely different creation narratives out there, and they don't correspond to anything real.

The garden of Eden is just one of many creation accounts given in folklore and passed down through oral traditions for generations before finally getting written down.
