I love the way they mentioned it Jeanette’s character in the show because in some revivals, they have a habit of being passive aggressive to cast members, who don’t return for the revival. this show doesn’t do that. The reason why she’s not there and her references are handled with so much love and care and the way they talk about her it’s like they really miss her. Like Carly saying the web show won’t be the same without Sam and Carly so hesitant to give up a car that was breaking down because it’s was last thing she bought with Sam. The scene where Freddy says I hope she’s doing OK and Carly answers back it’s Sam. I hope they are doing OK it’s not only in character for Sam but it’s like they’re saying to Jeanette that thiey hope she doing OK now and then reassuring that she’s OK now. Which is so sweet.

Imo I think Freddie genuinely loved and cared about Sam, but not so much the other way around. I mean, if she truly loved him, she would’ve told him the truth about the camp application a long time ago.

The fact that Freddie could die from the Killer tuna. Instead Sam saved him, Sam has hated Freddie most of her and his life. Sam also said in the episode “I’m not proud of it” Jade assuming they dated. Freddie said and quote “I lov-really like Sam and I don’t wanna see her get hurt” But we all know in the reboot of I Carly. First episode -Freddie benson “I hope she’s ok” But Carly doesn’t rlly say anything about agreeing with Freddie. But Carly Cleary doesn’t know Freddie went to LA when Carly was in Italy. Freddie still had feelings for Sam and lost them for Carly so why did he date Carly in the new one but Freddie doesn’t agree or say anything, they just kiss. So I think Freddie was too happy for Carly and didn’t say he had feelings for Sam still.
