The oil only goes milky if its been run... otherwise the water comes out first.. then the oil if drained.. they dont mix sitting.

I love these news reports. If you do not know what you are doing when it comes to buying a salvage title or a rebuilt titled vehicle please go pay triple the price at Carmax and leave the bargains for those of us that know what were doing.

Find an old car (pre-2000) and do this:
*DO NOT START/CRANK THE CAR.*
1: Check the dipsticks. If filled, drain the oil and transmission fluid and replace them.
2: Check the air filter. If it's wet do this: Take out the spark plugs and crank the car. Water should spit out. When there's no more water, put them back in (or replace them) and start.

A LOT of people are trying to get their hands on that 458 specialé aperta at the moment. Anything rare will be sent back to the factory and restored for sure especially when we are talking about near million dollar value cars.

1:40 A Ferrari 458 Spider on the cheap!!! Woooo!!!! All I gotta do is change the oil and, of course, the oil filter, crank the engine over without the spark plugs (yes, I know I gotta remove 8 of them, since we're dealing with a V8) and clean her up good and proper. It's been underwater, but it's not like carbon fiber and all that composite metal stuff rusts.
