Girl! This was such a perfect way to counter these types of videos. Well done!

Beautifully put. Everyone gets headaches now and then but that doesn’t mean they have a migraine. Everyone gets diarrhoea now and then but it doesn’t mean they have IBS. Every psych disorder has symptoms present in normal behaviour. The difference is the frequency and whether or not these behaviours encroach in our lives. People need to stop self diagnosing

I do all of them! I come from a family full of schizophrenics. Mother and 2 of 3 brothers. Dad was an abusive alcoholic narcissist who caused their existing genetic predisposition to defeat them all completely. One brother committed suicide at 21. I somehow dodged the bullet. Because I was the family scapegoat, I learned self reliance and developed excellent creative problem solving skills. Everyone else in the family cowered before him or were flying monkeys. They are dead or completely crippled by learned helplessness, anxiety and depression.

This is scary how accurate this is. Thank you so much for not spreading misinformation. It's nice to see there are people out there like me.

Mental health is a grey scale. We are all on it somewhere. We're all a little weird in our own ways. It helps to have open conversation about it.

This is the best video ever, thank you. I hate tiktokencers that guide people without discretion. You are an amazing individual for conveying this problem properly.

The problem is that the younger generations like to put themselves in these situations for attention or they think it's cute/trendy. Validating culture is so harmful and problematic, we can't validate everyone who says they have something when they don't, it really hurt communities with real physical and mental health issues.

This is brilliant. It's so refreshing seeing honest information to help people rather than fear mongering for views

I knew where this was going and I was smiling the whole time. Well done! My daughter needs to heed this advice. She believe the internet over a doctor and it drives me nuts, I mean crazy. Oh hell you know what I mean.
