Now that the dust has settled on Season 2 and the introduction of Sunder Charms + Terror Zones, it's a good time to take a look at the End-game Amazon builds and see how they stack up in the meta farming tier list. Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!

I'm really liking the place the Zons are at from a build path perspective. Early on in clearing the game Exploding Arrow carries, then when it drops off Ice and/or Lighting fury comes online. Light fury is the best density clear in the game, getting you access to the runes you need to gear out to the true endgame (IMO) of Infinity Spearzon.

Relative to the other specs within class and other classes I think there is still a lot of work from a balancing perspective and knowing from experience how powerful guided and multi shot have been in the past I don't see why we cant close the gap between the A and D tier builds with this next balance pass. From a francize perspective 2.6 may be our last major patch, due to the D4 release date, so I really hope there are already SIGNIFICANT discussions as to what its going to be so we can get iterations on PTR.

Mained a furyzon this season. Got her to one last XP bar away from 97 and realized I was all burned out for the season.
Crack of the Heavens was a game changer for both lightning skills for sure, but multiplying two values by the same number (note for dorks: yeah, yeah, unless it's a fraction) will always widen the gap between them, i.e. the furyzon stays winning and even gets ahead with sunder charms.

For freezing arrow and fire, they're placed well enough. It's worth noting flickering flame gives a fire option to lower enemy res and the plague runeword is more effective on a fire build than freezing arrow since the proc is reliant on being struck.

Wizendraw is a good single handed option for minus enemy resists for freezing arrow that also comes early. Fire options have more of a capability to fall back to using physical damage/magic arrow from Kuko Shakaku (does more damage than Wizendraw and only needs to be uped once), and do in the late game have phoenix with fire builds having more options for minus enemy resistances long term. Fire sunder charms are also less daunting to use thanks to FF.

And lastly, even though shattering monsters is satisfyingly, the CC from freezing arrow actually reduces your effective clear speeds.

I would agree on most of this, but I cant agree that strafe is better than plague jav. I've players both, even with a high cb setup with AMP bow it is still inferior to plague javelin. The fact that you can just toss-and-rush feels amazing and if there is a dangerous target, it can be used defensively because you can lure it into the poison.

Freezing Arrow should be at least B Tier, but overall good tier list.

I think full plague javelin with a smol lightning fury (and both sunder charms) is really fun to play.

I tried 6 different classes in Ladder 2 and although the Lightning Fury Javazon kicked ass, it was incredibly agonizing always having to run back to a smith every time you run out of javies. I first tried using Thunderstroke which was just hideous to play as you were running out every 5 minutes, then luck found me and I found a Titans Revenge, however it only replenishes 1 javie every 5 sec, and in a high density map, this still resulted in multiple runs back to a smith. The game play is fun, but always running out of javelins is maddening and made me drop this character :( .

Have to disagree with the strafe/multishot assessment. Not sure why it's thought that strafe does more DPS than multishot.

Extensive testing of strafe vs multishot shows that a non-synergised multishot out DPS's a fully synergised strafe against the Eldritch pack. Sure, all strafe arrows point to directions they should fly to, but 10 strafe arrows every second or a bit more vs 20+ multishot arrows every 2/5ths to 1/3rd of a second is just no competition in multishot's favour.

The point of procs being easier to apply with strafe is kind of true, but you're sacrificing direct DPS for this in doing so.

Blizzard need to fix strafe to ensure it does the attack rating and damage numbers that it advertises for strafe to at least have a chance in equalling multishot's performance. I put up a video that shows that Strafe's damage output is bugged, do check it out if interested.

Any chance for a non-ladder tier list? would LOVE to know what a meta with terror zones but w/o sunder charms looks like - has there been ANY change? are ppl hybrid speccing more to be able to farm all terror zones? These are questions I would love to know the answers to, are you curious at all about this? the idea of hybrid vs specialized was cool back before synergies were around and i wonder terror zones created enough of an environment change to shift the non ladder meta in a meaningful way. Thanks for you awesome vids!

Have you actually tried strafe? I don't think it works as well as the tooltip indicates - multi-shot actually seems stronger to me...

I'd like to point out that D-tier is STILL viable and fun.

I lvl'd a MultiShot/GuidedArrow, was lucky to find a Goblin's and Guillaume's and eventually landed a DiaClone close to lvl 80 and ended up with 10/11/5 Anni...

I find these Tier-Lists a bit unfortunate, because back in school, getting a D or F was miserable. But all these builds are very playable!
