Tier List for PvP in Diablo 2 Resurrected

What PvP Build should you make for D2R? These are how the most popular builds (new and old) rank in our S Tier list. Even with the new Patch 2.3 release, this list is fairly on point. How does your favorite character stack up?

I used to play Diablo 2 20 years ago and had a wind Druid and bone necro, my 2 favorite builds. We used to do 4v4 matches with teams of Druid Barbarian Necro and Assassin.

with shared stash allowing for a lot of resistance stack gear, I think vs any well prepared opponent all the pierce builds fall down one tier.
blizzard, auradin, foh, poison nec, all have problems once the majority of their pierce has been negated.

gm rules help blizzard prevent this by say "hey don't do that" but every prepared player is gonna be packing resists to the gm cap with shared stash now.

My personal favs have always been BvCs and 95 ES Blizz/FB sosos.I know it's crappy in d2r due to ww bug but still it doesn't stop people like DHA to rock blood moor with spin to win baba.

Hi first of all. I have to saw u are totally my nr 1 fav of D2 guides and videos. Sure there is Lama, And Debrunski, but i feel there are more like gurus for single player, or meta focussed. And for a old d2 veteran who pursome to be a guru in my guild and be one of the guys who knows most about d2 in my network. I apreciate you of all the youtubers the most, because you are the more real guy with the apreciation of the game, pvp, marketing that i can better rely or comparare to my needs. I mean if u make a video of, and ur not afraid, nonmeta, which can both result in alot of comments aND DICUSSION, and u have to really be more prepared and have d2 basic knowgle, or reference and testing with real pro gamers, dare more to take the chance to go to the next lvl, and talk about the ultimate builds, stats, gear and the real BIS gear and marked, especially for pvp. which by my standards, is one of the endgame goals and another world and community for most. U have added alternative builds or strategies, far from meta. Sharing some small tips and knowlge for even the biggest veteran player, who though he knew everything, and not getting anything new from any meta d2 streamer. And can therefore relate. Tho I have one question who have been buggin med for weeks. In many of ur videos, when u speedfarm/tele to a sertain distination, i notice u verry often pull up the skill tap screen. And Its be bugging me, that I want to know why, whats the reason for this. Is this because u will tele the max distance, like with controller, and and effect for not having high mouse sensivity, to easily max out tele distance. Is it something wierd personal, wihout any reason. Or is it something else Even i never knew about.. Pls tell and explain ur habbit about opening skilltap when you tele. cause thats a trick i never knew about.

Pretty well done. Barb for me is definitely S tier as it's my main PvP char and I clap all builds. The only one I may struggle with are sins.

I agree (mostly) though I'd move everything down a peg to differentiate between sin being more disgusting than the rest.

S tier -- Sin
A tier -- Necro, Smiter, Druid, WW Barb
B tier -- Hammerdin, Zon (only here because it beats sin, I'd say low B), Blizzer, Poison Necro, FBaller
C tier -- Charger, Orber, Firewaller, Bolt/Nova
D tier -- pure melee builds (frenzy, zeal, werewolf/bear)

I used to main a shockadin charger in LoD, that was how it was played, you would try to charge in/out and some would use Zeal, I never wasted time on Zeal because it's easily countered.
