Mevo has a new camera designed for livestreaming. It's called the Mevo start, features HD broadcasting, livestream platform syncing (YouTube, Twitch), and captures 3D audio. The product is launching in April, and will cost about $300.

They are $399 now. Stands are $79.99 A plus is that it has a 3.5mm port on the back to be able to plug in an external mic. Thinking about getting 2 for a live stream setup and leave it.

I got one. Works good. But if you want to do.some basic stuff such as ading a logo or an overlay text you have to pay another 180$ for vimeo plus. That sucks big time

YouTube only allows live streaming from a computer unless you have at least 1000 subscribers and then you can livestream directly from your mobile device.
With this camera will YouTube allow to livestream without having reached the 1000 subscribers?

I could only see this being useful for mobile gamers. even if you can plug an Ethernet cord in, if you can't connect it to and control it with your rig/setup/streaming deck what's the point?

You could buy 15 WYZE Cams for the price of this single $300 camera. I don't see how companies come out with something like this and think it's worth $300.00!

It’s sad he jump the price because the demand of webcams because of covid-19. I hope his sales don’t go as plan. That’s a greedy move and it’s sad !
