4:19 “You can only receive salvation when you know you’re not good enough and you cry out to be forgiven if your sin by the sheer grace of God based upon the death and the provision of Christ on the cross.” Man this really hurt to hear but in a good way, like I could just see myself and what I looked like every time I have to repent and feel like a loser, what a terrible sight and I hate it, exactly like Romans 7:24. At the same time it’s sobering and a blessing to know our God is so merciful and perfect, because there can only be perfect timing when you trust our Lord. It’s the Good fight though, no time for stopping, we fight to give Him the glory 💙💙

The truth is sometimes uncomfortable and many so called "preachers" avoid it for that reason. Thank you for not "your" truth, but the fact that "your" truth is the truth of the Bible and spoken so well. I have heard others say that those that have not heard of Jesus or could not comprehend his message will be offered an opportunity to accept Him at the Great White Throne Judgement. Anyone ignorant of the Lord Jesus will not necessarily go to hell. Jesus, and only Jesus, did indeed do all necessary on the cross - TO REDEEM THE WORLD! In that sense He opened Heaven for all, so Jesus is the only way. But each of us must do our part. Whoever follows his conscience as best he knows, and in his end regrets his trespasses, has a chance for Heaven. This is Catholic teaching.

The best explanation as to why one is doomed if one believes that the atoning sacrifice of Christ comes into play only after all we can do. I'm an ex-Mormon who came to realize the false doctrine of faith plus works for salvation.

You are right when you say no one is good but God, but it is also written, you are wrong about sin and the judgment which is to come. Those who don't know the law will be judged by their conscience. He who has mercy will be shown mercy but he who didn't have mercy will not be shown mercy

John explains it clearly and without hesitation. The Church needs to take gloves off when preaching the love of God for man. We come to Him on His terms. He is God and we are His children not peers or colleagues. He leads us, He rules and He is LORD!

It's a good thing that no matter what religion you are that our God will read our hearts and he will decide whether we will go back to the dirt or we will be resurrected into everlasting life. As far as I know, that is the only judgment that matters with the small exception of god granted mankind to govern himself and we must follow man's laws. But when man's laws contradict God's laws, you must know the answer to this one, but maybe not?
Personally, I do not have a heavenly hope in the hereafter. I do have an earthly hope part of the great crowd mentioned in Revelation chapter 7. Only 144, 000 souls will go to heaven and rule with Jesus. That's what John said in chapter 7 of Revelation.

As the noted protestant author Tozier wrote concerning protestantism,
" In our zeal to escape the saved by works of the catholics we have committed the opposite error of faith without obedience."
Salvation isn't just about escaping hell and going to heaven it's about being born again. Just as physical birth is the end result of a process so is spiritual rebirth and Acts. 2:38 is that process.

In the bible Jesus said a man must be born again to go to Heaven. Alot of people think this means they should merely believe in him. We see so often in our world today and abrupt end to people's lives. And it becomes increasingly clear that when we die nothing else matters aside from our relationship with Jesus Christ. That is the reality of God's creation whether we like it or not. He is the creator and we are merely his creation. Here to live on his terms and happily at that. John 3:16 Says for God so loved the world that he gave his only son that whoever would believe on him would not perish but have everlasting life. But John 2: 23 says Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, in the feast day, many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did. 24But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men,  25And needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man. One must square how one verse says to believe and be saved. And one verse says he did not commit himself to everyone who believes. It's crucial to think of these things because they are Heaven and hell issues.

It’s amazing how these preachers pastors read a book that was put together by the Catholic Church around the year 382 and proclaimed it to the world that this was the written word of God they seem to forget that where was this guy in the year 382. He’s nothing but wolves in sheep clothing like the Bible says, he is right one day he’s gonna say look God I did all this I even proclaim myself a pastor and God will tell him get away I don’t know you
