hey girl! I'm a head barista at Gails and if your buying coffee beans from Gails, the coffee recipe is 17g of coffee into the portafilter and it should take between 25 and 28 seconds to come out of your machine, one the coffee is weighed it should be 34g. after your coffee should taste perfect

You’ll be doing everything you can to make it smooth and the same but children are SO perceptive and it will be her first awareness that people can sometimes not be around in the same way any more — so she’s clinging to you. You love each other and that will help it settle down ❤

15:01 Hey babe💗 I work in a coffee shop so i’ve got a few tips if you’re interested🤣…

- I’d always reccomend heating milk first then coffee shot last, just so the espresso is fresh
- I’d also reccomend buying a little cloth because once you’ve heated your milk and removed the jug, you need to wipe the ‘wand’ with a damp cloth to get rid of any excess milk. Once done, point the wand down to the grill and press the ‘milk’ so steam comes out. This is called ‘purging’ which removes any left over milk inside the wand so it doesn’t clog up.
- Once you’ve used your “plunger” (lol🤣) wipe off the excess grinds around the head so it doesn’t block up the filter/ inside the machine.
- Where I work we put syrup in the cup first, ice, cold milk then pour the coffee shot on top. But personal preference really (some people prefer milk syrup and coffee first then ice last as it can make the coffee taste burnt if poured on the ice).
- If you want frothy cold foam, you can get a mini handheld electric milk frother (I got mine from IKEA for £1). Just pop it in a cup/ jug and whizz away.
