Thanks for the poll worker shout out, Seth. I was a poll worker for the election yesterday. Officially I worked from 5 am to 9 pm with an hour break. Almost all of the people that came in to vote were happy and positive., which was nice to experience given the vitriolic rhetoric that I’ve been bombarded with constantly for so very long. Anyway, I greeted each person as they came to my district table, I logged people in, I showed them how to use the voting machine, and waited patiently for them to vote. Afterwards, I gave each person (and their kids, shhhh) a sticker that said "I voted". When a few of these voters had a problem, I helped them resolve this so they could successfully vote. It was a long and tiring day but I was glad to do this. I strongly believe that every eligible voter has the right to exercise their right to participate in this process. It didn’t matter whether they voted for Trump or Kamala, just as long as they were able to successfully vote. I’m not happy that Trump won. I really truly and deeply am not happy about this. But I am happy that I helped make sure that this was a fair and honest process.

I plan to retire at 62 in another country outside the US that is free, safe and very cheap with a high quality of life. I could fully just rely on only my SS if I wanted to when that times arrives but l'll also have at least one pension, a 403 (b) and a very prolific Investment account with my Stephanie Janis Stiefel my FA. Retiring comfortably in the US these days is almost impossible.

My mom, my sister and I got together this morning and just cried. I’m grateful I have a support system. But, like millions of other people, I’m in danger because I’m disabled, because of who I love and because I’m a woman. It’s scary going out in public together. I already get harassed, and I have a feeling it’s going to get a lot worse.
