How to quickly and easily customize your Macbook's desktop icons! AESTHETIC & TRENDY desktop icons! aka no more boring desktop icons!

1. search for a transparent background PNG
2. save PNG to desktop
3. right click, share, click "add to photos"
4. double click PNG to open
5. click edit, "copy"
6. right click on the folder you want to change, click "get info"
7. click to highlight the folder in the upper left of the box
8. Edit, "paste"
DONE!

the easier way to do it is to hold left click then release left click once ur on the folder icon in get info

its working!! All you do is click THE LITTLE folder at the top and paste the image <3 thanks for ur help

its working but the transparent part of the image just fills with white so it not transparent anymore . -_-

Omg it worked even though my Mac is literally older than me! Tysmm <3 also the background isn't transparent, so I'm just going to use canva to make the background the colour of my wallpaper!
