I review, breakdown and explain Carry On Netflix. I discuss the 2024 movie staring Taron Egerton and Jason Bateman as Ethan and The Traveler as a Novichok nerve agent was being put on a plane. I react to the ending with The Traveler’s death, Ethan becoming a police officer and I answer if it is actually a Christmas movie.

Can Hank Schrader ever be a cop without dying ???

Working at an airport myself I can see how ridiculous some of this movie is, but it’s entertaining nonetheless - love Jason Bateman as a villain

I loved the movie it seemed corny at first but then I got invested, and it was kinda funny how all his coworkers thought he was just being a assholee😂

I'm a huge Jason Bateman fan and never thought I'd see the day where I get to see him become the villain

I find a major plot hole in the narrative. When the MC switch the suitcases he actually did not switch them. MC *put the b0mb inside another suitcase* and write down the tracking number so he can find out where the bad guy was flying to.
But this means... He had to find a similar looking suitcase, he also knew the code to open it, remove the content from it and put the b*mb in and close and lock it again.

He could've pry open the other suitcase forcefully, probably happens quite a lot in his job, but he wouldn't be able to close the suitcase properly without the bad guy noticing it. So what really happened? All of this was done off screen.

I'm also frustrated that this guy was willing to sacrifice hundreds of people to save his girlfriend but I brushed it off because I think that could realistically happen.

But there is a moment where he finally met his girlfriend for the first time after being threatened by the bad guys where he could basically could duck under a table and alerted the officers.

Another thing that was ridiculous is when the girlfriend was being chased buy the other bad guy in the airport, she chose to lure him to the parking lot so she could go 1v1 against him instead of just scream from the top of her lungs.

It was still a fun watch though.

Is it ME, or has Jason Bateman been literally killing it as an adult actor?

Smart villain AND a smart hero. Loved it.

I love how when they’re in the planes cargo hold, the antagonist is able to gain access from the cabin through a floor hatch, despite this not existing onboard a real 737-800, which is the type of plane used in the scene. So it would be impossible to access the cargo hold from the cabin. Not only that, but somehow the cargo hold is the size of hotel suite and both characters are able to stand.

There’s not that much space underneath the airplane in the cargo area, even while kneeling your head would touch the sealing.

Yeah, I agree, the ending stretched believability a little too far and it was too long. Overall, though, it was a pretty good movie that I might watch again.

Somebody help me out. Was Mateo supposed to die on the flight to DC? Once they found Jesse in the van he said they promised he would fly back tomorrow on a flight from DC! So was Mateo suppose to be on the flight with the bomb and die? And was it the travelers plan to kill Ethan to tie all loose ends?

the bad guy went into the luggage section because he saw, on the app, the bomb has been put on manual mode

**SPOILER** There is still the other guy, the one that searched the houses. I'll say stalker, and the traveler never said how old his kid was. Kind of leaves room for a 2nd. Like die hard.

Really loved the film myself. I usually go on my phone during a film but this kept me really engaged.

Shit was a great movie why people can't like something without tripping

4:48 honestly the car crash scene was probably my least favorite part... Well actually it's a pretty entertaining scene lol, just felt so out of place in a movie where most of the action felt more grounded and believable (for the most part, I still have no clue how JB got a handgun on board a plane). Overall though it was a really good movie.

The Big question of the movie that was never explained is...What happened to the blue-haired woman?

We know she was an accomplice to the Traveler and the other bad guys, as she was the one who gave Ethan the earbud, and she gave The Traveler a Parachute. But we never saw her again.

It's worth a watch. Pretty entertaining. Netflix movies are usually shit, this is not.

Ehh I thought it was kinda dumb 😅 the only way is for a TSA guard to get into the luggage capartment and, um, defuse the bomb again? Lol
