🔪Natalia Grace Case: 'Adopted 'CHILD' Tried To Kill Me!' Who Was Lying Here?

A three-night special event on ID has chronicled the case in an explosive docuseries titled The Curious Case of Natalia Grace. Is She a Child or an Adult 'Sociopath?' Natalia Grace, an orphan from the Ukraine, was adopted in 2010 by an Indiana couple. Michael Barnett believed they were adopting a 6-year-old girl. But soon, they became suspicious of her age, leading to a bombshell claim: that Natalia, who has a form of dwarfism called spondyloepiphyseal, was merely posing as a child — and was really an adult woman with sinister intentions. The Barnetts claimed Natalia tried to harm them and their biological children. Natalia was accused of trying to poison Kristine's coffee and harm her by dragging her towards an electric fence. Natalia was also accused of placing clear thumb tacks on the stairs face up so that they would step on them. The Ukrainian orphan at the center of an adoption scandal is speaking exclusively to Dr. Phil. Natalia tells Dr. Phil that the Barnetts are the ones who are lying.

The hbo series shows Natalia’s spine doctor stating she was a child when he saw her, her mother stating she was born in 2003, and her birth certificate.

He makes my skin crawl, especially after watching the doco. "Do you want tears or no tears" 🤮 I hope that poor girl gets the justice she deserves.

Please do another video based on the netflix documentary. The way the dad acts and puts blame on the daughter and his ex wife would be really interesting on what you think about this X

Whatever the truth is, this guy is a ridiculous human being. I don't know what he was trying to accomplish with that documentary of his but his theatrics was bananas.

One thing I found odd, the husband claims his wife screamed from the bathroom. On the first day they adopted a six year old child, and told him to come look at her privates in the bathroom. How insensitive and weird and horrible are they that a woman would scream at looking at a naked child, or someone they assumed was a child, and then tell her husband to look at this child they’ve just met privates. If I adopted a kid and the kid had pubic hair, I would assume it had a health problem, and I would take it to the doctor. I would not scream, and I would definitely not tell my husband to come look at the poor girls privates. This woman has also claimed to have died multiple times, and her sister supposedly almost died, and her newborn nephew, or some thing has chronic regional pain syndrome, um no. They’re crazy af

He outright admits in the docuseries that he watched his wife severely physically abuse this girl and he did nothing to stop it. There was also some audio caught on a hot mike about her pushing someone (presumably Natalia) down the stairs. Again, he did NOTHING. He is just as responsible as she is for the abuse.

Is it just me, or does Michael always look like he just did 37 lines of coke? 😅

My guess is that they realized they adopted hastily and, instead of dealing with that, they blamed her for not being the child they wanted. They did so quite literally by deciding she wasn't a child at all. In truth, she was likely older than they thought she would be (probaly a pre-teen instead of 6-7), but most definitely not an adult and this became the excuse they needed to re-age her. Was she likely a disturbed and difficult child? Probably, yes. Especially if she was a kid bounced around. That doesn't mean she was a psychotic adult.

Please, I beg you to cover his behavior on the Curious Case of Natalia Grace documentary. He is an entirely different person on that!!!

This is almost WORD FOR WORD what he said in the documentary, its so rehearsed and acted. He's giving a performance and he knows what and when to say specific details and give specific expressions. Its not a story, its a weird speech he memorized.

She was a CHILD here is why: 1. Pics of her right before Barnetts she was missing baby teeth ( you can not grow back teeth); 2. Birth Mom in Ukraine was interviewed- confirmed birthrate (birth mom not old enough to have child that old); 3. Apartment Life: 1st apartment (she had a career aid that came to house a couple times a week, and the Barnetts came and left groceries; reports that she was unkempt, smelled, wandered neighborhood begging for food and playing with children (there are pictures), CHILD Services was called and got involved ( After that, Barnett Question her about leaving her apartment. Why would he do that if she was in an adult); They got so many complaints about this girl who couldn't take care of herself. They had to move her into another apartment. 4. Reaging: This is the worst part. At the time when she was eight, according to her Birth Certificate. The Barnett had her re-aged In the court system. The trial court excluded lots of evidence that would show she was a child and based on the testimony of a family doctor it was ruled that because she had not grown in the In a certain amount a years and women Stop growing at a certain age that by process of elimination that that would make her 22 yrs old. So she was reaged from 8 to 22. That never happens, especially if you think about it Just less than a year before the Barnett's took her. She had lost a baby tooth. In foreign adoption, sometimes they do adjust ages a few years, but not this many years. Also, it's important to note that in their state at 22c is the age where parents are no longer obligated to financially take care of their children. All so they wanted to move to Canada. And in Canada, there is a clause that says that they will not accept immigrants that have certain medical conditions. That will put a strain on their economy. 5. Growth: If you look at the pictures especially the pictures of When she was with the little people family she was a child a you can tell she growing up. 6. Detective that Barnette that he said to have reage it says in his report she is a child and there is more pics of her missing teeth.
You can grow back front teeth---she was missing them when she came to states lost more after she came she could not have been an

Thank you for hearing our request! The actual Documentary “The Curious Case of Natalia Grace” offers answers to many of your questions!
I’m grateful to have your insight on Michael however I think a LOT is lost without the details. He is also rushing to get the information out in a short amount of time.
I would absolutely love to see your thoughts from the interviews in the documentary like you did for Casey Anthony’s “Where the Truth Lies”! Pretty pretty please!
I watched the entire series and I fully believe Natalia was a child.
I also believe Michael is on the spectrum.
There is such a HUGE shift in his demeanor, interviews in 2019 Vs his last interviews in 2022 are night and day! As I watched the series all I could think of is what my favorite behavior guys would have to say about all of it! It truly is fascinating from a behavior aspect and I really really am begging for you guys to check it out! As much as I appreciate this interview analysis, it is peanuts when compared to the bigger picture found in the Discovery + documentary! Thank you again!! 😊

After watching the entire doc. That girl was absolutely 100% a child at the time. Those two "parents" are the psychotic's ones. The neighbors like blew my mind... everything they were saying was like...how can you not decipher that was a KID!? Blew my mind.

It’s hard for me to believe that woman was shouting from the bathroom to her husband as though there’s an emergency- right in front of Natalia, and then also right in front of Natalia she is telling her husband to look at her naked body with a look of horror on her face. Not believable.

@TheBehaviorPanel I am curious as to why all of the shows covering this talk about Natalia’s re-aging by the court, but no one goes into what is required by law for that to happen. Bone age scans, dental exams, etc. I cannot imagine a court can re-age someone without some medical evidence to support the age. Especially with this age gap.

As someone who was a foster parent (nearly 50 children) I used to get cold calls from social workers to take children in where it was 'your house or a group home.' So yeah, they pull the heart strings. The fact the agency only sent two pictures tells me they were hoping to play on their emotions that this disabled child would never be adopted. He seem a bit naive in this regard - but I can see it happening.

I think she could have been damaged, missed by agency, suffering from abuse and neglect and really didn't know anything about herself. Hard to tell how long she was in their system in Ukraine. I do believe she was a child but with street smarts, jealousy, and trust issues

They adopted a child, regreted it because she's a little person, with clear trauma, probably sexual abuse, then abused her themselves and got away with it. Disgusting people.

A neighbor told about her admission to the knife incident. She said it just causally to the neighbor that she wanted to kill them and was holding the knife at the foot of the bed. Like it wasn't a big deal. The neighbor didn't know the parents or situation. She had no reason to lie. It actually scared the neighbor.
